- Deep subtropical moisture will be moving northward across
portions of northern and central Nevada on Tuesday. This
anomalously moist atmosphere will allow for the development
of showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms will be

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Nevada, including the following
county, Eureka.
* WHEN...Until 645 PM PDT.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some
low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 440 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream
flooding. Up to 1.3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Portions of Pine Creek 20 miles south of Pine Valley is the
most likely place to experience minor flooding.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding along the drainage.
