At 02:25 on the 31st, the Guangzhou Meteorological Observatory resolved the rainstorm and thunderstorm gale warning signals: in the past two hours, Yuexiu District and Tianhe District had strong thunderstorms, accompanied by gusts and strong lightning of about Level 5. The maximum gust of 8.8 meters per second (Level 5) was recorded in Meihua Village Street, Yuexiu District, the maximum cumulative rainfall of 45.5 mm in Tianhe District was recorded in Huangcun Street, and the maximum cumulative rainfall of 14.4 mm in Yuexiu District was recorded in Dongshan Street. At present, the precipitation in Yuexiu District and Tianhe District has weakened significantly. From 02:25 on the 31st, the warning signals of rainstorm and thunderstorm gale in Yuexiu District and Tianhe District of Guangzhou City have been lifted.
