FLOODING POSSIBLE IN MOORE AND HILL RIVER CATCHMENTS FROM FRIDAY A series of cold fronts will impact the state over the next week. The first cold front arriving on Thursday and Friday may bring moderate falls to parts of the Central West and Lower West districts, including the Moore and Hill catchments. The catchments are relatively dry but can respond quickly to rainfall. With forecast rainfall, river and creek level rises, localised flooding, and overland inundation are possible in parts of the Moore and Hill catchments, including Moora, from Friday. Some communities and homesteads may become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.
